RWE Clean Energy, LLC Functional area: Operations & Maintenance Remuneration: Non-Exempt As Wind Farm Technician Associate you support the overall operations and maintenance of one or more wind farms and all related facilities to assure safety and maximize availability in accordance with Operations mission. This role is responsible for safe execution of scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting and repair activities, training, and safety exercises. This job also maintains accountability and readiness of plant tools, equipment, and vehicles; provides technical guidance to the O&M team; tracks, and maintains records of service activities both scheduled and unscheduled through the digital maintenance management system; and helps maintain the work ethic and culture of the plant O&M team. Blade Repair Engineering Technician

As a member of the **Blade Inspection & Repair Team & Blade Engineering Team** , this role will be part of a team responsible for supporting blade inspection and repair campaigns & blade contractor management in our North American fleet of turbines. • *Role Responsibilities:** + Review blade inspection data after upload to the blade database + Assess damages, update damage parameters if needed, compare with previous inspections, consult severe cases with engineers, assign repairs in Mid-Term Planning (MTP), and generate work orders listing damages requiring repair + Prepare and deliver summary presentations of inspection results using standard templates + Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including Asset Management, Site Operations leads, BRS coordinators, and, occasionally, wind farm investors in coordination with the RWE Portfolio Management department + Provide technical and logistical support to field repair teams, ensuring adherence to engineering processes and instructions + Coordinate with BRS crews and leadership to prioritize damage repairs and adjust scope as new critical damages are identified + Update site repair forecast values in COMBAT for rotor blade inspection and repair counts during quarterly forecast updates and Mid-Term Planning (MTP) adjustments, ensuring alignment with inspection reviews and site operations presentations + Act as a liaison between Engineering and BRS to support training, process improvements, adherence to procedures, and the use of specific tools/materials + Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of annual and new-hire training programs established by blade repair services + Audit high-severity repair reports to evaluate repair quality and adherence to RWE standards and identify potential risks.
