Position: VIE - Project Manager (M/W) Neoen is developing a large pipeline of wind, solar and storage projects in Australia. To support the delivery of these projects, Neoen is seeking a new VIE - Project Developer to assist its NSW Development team to identify and develop new wind, solar and battery projects. This role will interact with Neoen’s Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Finance and Energy Management teams, as well as with the management team. The Project Developer will lead engagement with key stakeholders such as landowners, communities and local councils, as well as lead all primary and secondary approvals for the project. They will also be responsible for preparing the financial assumptions for your project(s) and for Neoen’s response to tenders for energy or services, such as CIS or LTESA. The Project Developer will support Neoen’s development activities and pipeline growth in NSW by: • Conducting research and mapping out prospective locations for new wind, solar and battery energy projects • Using project and contract management skills to manage your tasks, deadlines and priorities • Assessing and participating in public and private tenders for the procurement of electricity and firming contracts • Networking within the industry to identify and foster project partnerships • Such other duties as may be required The Project Developer will assist or manage one or more of Neoen’s renewable energy projects, which will involve: • Leading and coordinating all work streams required to proceed to financial close and commencement of construction on wind, solar and battery projects • Leading the negotiation of land agreements (e.g. options to lease, purchase, easements etc.) with landowners, NSPs and their solicitors • Negotiating contracts with councils and other stakeholders for community financial benefit sharing • Negotiating connection agreements and service agreements with NSPs • Managing and working closely with consultants, reviewing their reports and overseeing technical discussions • Liaising with experts and consultants carrying out site surveys and environmental studies, such as contour mapping, geotechnical investigation • Managing civil and electrical designers, in collaboration with Neoen’s Engineering team and environmental consultants, to ensure projects are optimized and constructable • Co-ordinate the submission of development applications to local councils and the state planning department • Manage the achievement of development consents and all other permits required for construction of Neoen’s projects • Co-ordinate and oversee installation of meteorological stations and wind masts on Neoen’s solar and wind sites • Hand over control of projects to Neoen’s construction team upon achievement of financial close • Such other duties as may be required#J-18808-Ljbffr
