Job Description: • Will be responsible for interpreting engineering drawings, fitting and welding metal components, operating welding equipment, and ensuring the quality and integrity of welds. • Will be Required to pass one or multiple ASME weld test once hired. • Performs all tasks to ASME standards and requirements. • Uses blueprints and design sketches to ensure the proper dimensions and tolerance levels, as well as correct components installed on the finished product • Updates and maintains all required documentation associated with job responsibilities • Assume responsibility and care of assigned tools and equipment • Welds metal parts on fixtures including attaching jigs and clamps to hold metal parts in proper position • Stick, TIG, & MIG (Sub-Arc would be a great addition as well). Weld materials in flat, vertical, and overhead positions once ASME weld test is pass. • Cut materials using air arcs, burning rods, and acetylene/oxygen cutting torches to fit fabrication and job requirements. • Problem Solving.
