Beginner Welder job at TERRA Staffing Group. Portland, OR. Job Description If you have at least 6 months of welding experience and you're looking for an opportunity to grow your skills, then this Welder position might be right for you! A rapidly growing manufacturer of box trucks is adding full-time, temp-to-hire Welders to their team. They will provide you with the training you need to grow your beginner welding skills to an expert level! In this role, you will be working on a team of 2-3 people to assemble the back box section of moving trucks. This is a physical position in a high-energy atmosphere, where you will build 4-6 box trucks per day. They're looking for people who have done some welding as a hobby, in a shop class or were exposed to it at another job. You'll enjoy a 4-day work week (3-day weekends!), hands-on training, & weekly pay.
