Under the direct supervision of the Facility Maintenance & Welding Shop Supervisor or Real Estate & Facility Operations Manager, be proficient in the following disciplines: electric arc, MIG, TIG, or oxyacetylene equipment in fusing or brazing ferrous and non-ferrous metals or non-aircraft applications. Perform simple clerical duties necessary in the completion of job-related paperwork. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES • Fabricate support equipment such as but not limited to work stands, work aids, carts, etc. • Repair fuel tanks and fuel systems • Perform other duties such as loading and unloading supplies • Read & understand approved drawings • Perform clerical work involved in preparing job related documentation • Responsible for supporting company Safety Management System • Comply with HSEQ policies and procedures • All other duties as assigned QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS • High school diploma • 3 plus years of fabricating/welding experience • Knowledge, Skill & Ability with Electric Arc, MIG, TIG, and Oxyacetylene welding tasks • Knowledge, Skill & Ability with fabricating equipment from approved drawings • Basic computer experience PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS PHYSICAL DEMANDS : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle or feel, and talk or hear.
