We are seeking a highly skilled Aluminum Fabricator with extensive experience in TIG and MIG welding to join our team. This position requires a professional who can take a blueprint and independently complete precise fabrication projects without requiring measurements to be broken down for them. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in highly precise aluminum fabrication, as well as experience working with stainless steel and carbon steel, primarily in the manufacturing of ROV components. Key Responsibilities: • Precision Fabrication: Read and interpret blueprints, tolerance charts, and welding symbols to fabricate components with minimal supervision. • Welding & Fitting: Perform high-quality TIG and MIG welding on aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel. • Measuring & Quality Control: Use calipers, tape measures, and other precision measuring tools to ensure parts meet tight tolerances. • Dimensional Logging: Accurately complete dimensional logs to verify part specifications. • Material Handling: Cut, fit, and weld components to exact specifications with an emphasis on precision and structural integrity. • Problem Solving: Identify potential design or fitment issues and propose solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy. • Leadership & Growth: Opportunity to take on leadership responsibilities and mentor junior fabricators as the company grows.
