Your Impact The Advanced Solar Field Service Technician (Operations and Maintenance) in the PEARCE Renewables Solar Operations and Maintenance Division performs tasks involving physical labor at solar energy sites near Eugene, Oregon. The Solar Field Service Technician is responsible for the operation and maintenance (O&M) of solar power plants in accordance with established preventative and corrective maintenance standards while always maintaining safety and professionalism. These are local sites-candidates should reside within 50 miles of the Eugene, Oregon areas. Core Responsibilities • Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance of Solar Utility and Sub-Station equipment. • Responsible for documentation including, but not limited to, work orders, time logs, inventory control, and emergency information schedules. • Provide a working knowledge of troubleshooting electrical components with help and use of digital multi-meters, meggers, amp clamps, and similar equipment. • Testing/troubleshooting installed solar equipment and ensuring proper working order. • Must have a strong safety background with experience in Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA). • Able work in a solo as well as a group environment. • Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Renewables Employee Handbook and insurance requirements.
