Solar Sales Consultant

Position Summary: The HAYNES Solar Sales Consultant will be responsible for selling residential and small commercial solar PV systems. Work with our installation team in managing the design, procurement and installation of commercial and residential solar projects to ensure project completion is on schedule, within budget, and follow-up that there is client satisfaction. Responsibilities: • Prepare project estimates, bids and proposals in a timely manner to clients. • Make site visits to ensure potential customer needs are obtainable. • Select solar energy products, systems, or services for clients based on electrical energy requirements and site conditions. • Explain technical, service or installation information to clients. • Explain available funding options, incentives, tax rebates to clients. • Procure and submit the necessary documentation to the state utility commission and to the local utility for their interconnection requirements. • Assist clients with the paperwork involved with local utility and building permits. • Follow-up with potential clients and submitted proposals in an effort to answer questions and close the deal. • Assist the installation team with the awarded projects in procuring materials, preparing product submittals, monitor project progress and project budget. • Follow-up on client satisfaction with installations and repairs. • Coordinate repair/warranty work. • Work with marketing department on strategies to develop local leads. • Provide presentations for potential solar clients. • Coordinate with public festivals/trade shows. Requirements: • Previous experience in Residential and Commercial solar system designs and installations required. • Must understand basic electrical AC and DC concepts of solar equipment and installation. • Must be knowledgeable in the standards for the solar industry. • Understands battery systems involved and materials needed for installing solar projects. • NABCEP Board Certification preferred, but not required. • Basic computer skills and familiar with Microsoft Office products, such Word, Excel, Outlook and Access. Excel spreadsheet experience a plus. Requirements Responsibilities • Assisting assigned Team Lead in the installation of solar PV systems and efficiency products; • Reviewing project plans and drawings for upcoming installations and install accordingly on the day of installation; communicating any changes/updates immediately to Operations department; • Maintaining high levels of quality and efficiency, with a determination to meet project timelines; • Maintaining a clean and efficient workspace, work vehicles/trailers, and maintaining provided tools/equipment and safety gear; • Working with Warehouse Manager on pick/return tickets, and job pack needs/requirements; • Assisting with the project “take-off” process, ensuring job pack is correct, complete, and loaded properly; • Ensuring a safe work environment, and strict adherence to OSHA rules/regulations and Renu safety protocol; • Contributing to the project documentation process, to include daily updates/photo uploads to Renu project management programs when assigned; • Assisting other Renu business functions as assigned. Engineering Assistant, Renewables

Renewable Design Associates, LLC (RDA) is seeking one qualified individual to join our team. We are a dedicated, capable group committed to quality and working on a variety of unique projects in NC and the Southeast. This position will report to our Design/QC Manager, based out of our office in Asheville, NC, supporting jobs including: • Commercial & Industrial Solar (primarily 20kW to 2MW) • Commercial & Industrial Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Design/Development • Grid-scale Storage and Microgrid systems • Quality Control/Quality Assurance for grid scale Battery Energy Storage Systems and Photovoltaic Systems Key Responsibilities: • Assist designer in developing plansets • Drafting • Specifying equipment and sizing conductors per NEC • Coordinating with equipment manufacturers • Permitting and interconnection assistance as necessary • Quality Assurance/Quality Control • Participate in 3rd party on-site inspections of utility-scale BESS and PV systems • Prepare documentation of inspections • Support installation crews • Provide technical and design support from the office • Join crews in field as necessary for construction, commissioning and QA/QC activities Candidate will participate in all phases of these projects, from development/design to installation and commissioning.
