P&E Mechanical Contractors, LLC is currently seeking an aditional skilled and motivated Fabricator/Welder for our sheet metal shop. The Fabricator/Welder is responsible for HVAC fabricating and assembling metal structures and equipment according to established production quality standards and engineering specification for HVAC duct work projects. This is an entry level position. An ideal candidate must be able to take a job from start to finish. Responsibilities: • Set-up welding machines based on specific welding specifications • Weld components and assembles using a MIG on mild and stainless steel • Perform final assembly to produce high quality finished products • Cut, grind. machine, and form work-pieces as required accurately including sheet metal, plate, tube, pipe, channel and angle • Examine completed work for defects, and measure pieces with straightedges and templates to ensure conformance with specifications • Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency • Maintain a safe and clean working environment • Performs all other duties as assigned • Working knowledge of essential hand and power tools and equipment used in the assembly of duct installation projects • Flexibility to work occasional overtime/weekends, as required Job Type: Full-time Pay: $23.88 - $28.75 per hour Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Work Location: In person
