Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Ductwork and Sheet Metal Installer to join our team. The installer will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal ductwork systems for HVAC applications in commercial, and industrial settings. The ideal candidate will have experience working with various tools and materials to ensure proper airflow and system efficiency. Key Responsibilities: • Measure, cut, and fabricate sheet metal ducts and fittings according to blueprints and specifications. • Install, secure, and seal ductwork systems in new construction and renovation projects. • Inspect and test systems for proper operation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. • Operate tools and machinery such as plasma cutters, shears, brakes, and welders. • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other tradespeople to complete installations efficiently. • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace. • Troubleshoot and repair existing ductwork as needed. Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Mechanics and Foreman for commercial new construction and renovation projects in the greater Austin area. Duties • * Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of HVAC projects • Ensure all HVAC systems, ductwork and accessories are installed properly per plans & specs. • Provide training and mentorship to team members on best practices in equipment installation in an appropriate and safe manner. • Maintain accurate daily records of work performed to maintain project schedule. • Collaborate with General Contractors and Owners to maintain standards and construction progress. Experience and Requirements • * Proven experience as an HVAC Mechanic/Foreman in a similar role within the commercial HVAC industry. • Minimum (3) year's experience for Mechanics, (5) year's experience for Foreman. • Familiarity with the construction process on HVAC projects ranging from $10K - $10M in scope. • Previous experience managing a team of HVAC Mechanics and Helpers. • OSHA-10 (Mechanic) or OSHA-30 (Foreman) • Capable of working in a safe manner on busy job sites with multiple employees and trades. • Capable of interpreting and understanding mechanical blueprints. • Valid TX drivers license & reliable transporation • Clean driving record (no more than 2 vehicle accidents or citations over 3 years) to qualify for company provided vehicle privileges. • Must be cleared to work in state and government facilities. • Authorized to work within the United States • Able to provide basic hand tools to complete job-related tasks. (power tools and specialty tools will be provided) Additional valuable attributes (You will not be disqualified if these are lacking) • * Certified to operate fork-lifts, scissor lifts, telehandlers and boom lifts.
