Description: This is a full-time, direct placement for Main Enterprises, Inc. SUMMARY Understand and manage an HVAC project completely and decipher plans and specifications for all disciplines to discern and execute a proper and coordinated installation. Run and manage a crew of up to 10 employees. Knowledge of applicable codes and where change orders may be applicable. The type and quantity of materials needed and the ability to measure for a properly installed, high quality HVAC project in the commercial construction environment. ACCOUNTABILITIES 1. Treat all people including those associated with Main Enterprises Inc, with respect, honesty, and integrity always. 2. Work with the utmost concern for safety for all. 3. Measure, install, repair, or replace sheet metal HVAC duct systems. 4. Layout of all aspects pertaining to a project. 5. Proper use of duct connectors and systems. 6. Proper and safe rigging of equipment 7. Install repair, and replace Air Handlers, Roof Top HVAC Units, fans, and exhaust systems. 8. Proper and safe use of all applicable trade related tools. 9. Identify required tools and special equipment needed for each application. 10. Layout, locate and mark positions for equipment, duct work registers, grilles, and diffusers including appropriate hangers and supports. 11. Inspect and fabricate and/or assemble parts together using nuts, bolts, rivets, screws, clips, or by welding. 12. Use hammers, punches, drills, and shears to make custom-fitted parts, either by altering shop made parts or creating custom-fit parts on site. 13. Seal and test HVAC systems for leakage. 14. Maintain & keep daily logbook & 2-week lookahead schedule 15. Other duties as assigned.
