Licensed Journeyperson Sheet Metal Workers ( Ductwork and/or Architectural Sheet Metal Workers)

Requirements: • 5 or more years commercial experience • Less experienced workers also considered • OSHA 10 certification • NFPA hot work safety certification • OSHA Scissor Lift certification • Willingness and ability to pass drug screening • Minimum education of high school diploma or GED equivalent Duties/Responsibilities: • Cuts, bends, and shapes sheet metal to required dimensions. • Measures, cuts, and welds pieces together according to specifications, blueprints, or directions. • Maintains clean and orderly workspace. • Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: • Ability to complete sheet metal projects with accuracy and precision. • Ability to safely use machinery and tools involved in sheet metal work. • Ability to follow directions. • Ability to read blueprints and schematics to understand product assignment. Physical Requirements: • Prolonged periods lifting, reaching, and working on scaffolding and overhead structures. Job Responsibilities · Utilize and interpret blueprints to determine how and where to fabricate, assemble and install sheet metal products · Measure, mark dimensions and lay out material to be installed using tools such as scribes, rulers, calculators, and squares · Fasten joints and seams in sheet metal with solder, welds, caulk, bolts, and metal driver clips, ensuring work is done carefully and bonds will last Job Type: Full-time Pay: $40.21 - $82.32 per hour Benefits: • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Employee assistance program • Health insurance • Health savings account • Retirement plan • Vision insurance Schedule: • 8 hour shift Work Location: On the road
