Apply Now About the job The main aspect of this job relates to the correct installation and/or repair of architectural sheet metal assemblies in supportive frameworks. But there is more to it than just installing metal sheets. Job Responsibilities: • Follow and adhere to all company, customer, and OSHA safety requirements. • Install and repair architectural sheet metal assemblies (flashing, coping, sill, siding, rain gutters, downspouts, wall panels, roof panels, ACM panels, metal cladding) in supportive frameworks • Fabricate or alter parts at construction sites • Perform layouts (measure and mark dimensions and reference lines on metal sheets) and forecast any issues that may impact the installation process • Assemble cuts and shapes from materials as specified in plans or directed by the supervisor • Maneuver large sheet metal parts to be installed, and properly fasten and anchor parts • Accurately form and shape materials to prescribed measurements • Material handling and laboring duties as they relate to the trade • Adhere to site regulations regarding safety, PPE, housekeeping, smoking, etc. • Communicate with members of the crew, the foreman, and the project manager • Maintain project sites in a neat and orderly fashion • Other duties as assigned Compensation & Benefits: • Competitive wage based on skills and experience • Company contribution to health, dental, vision, and 401k • Paid time off (PTO), vacation days • Bonuses based on performance and attitude About You In our Architectural Sheet Metal Installer, we are looking for someone who isn't only experienced in the job and confident in their work, but someone who is a real team player and willing to grow with us. Qualifications & Work Experience: • Must have a valid Driver's License and submit to an MVR. • Must have at least 2 years of sheet metal installation experience. • Must be willing to perform strenuous work when needed. • Must be willing to work on weekends, only as needed in emergencies. • Must be willing to work more than eight (8) hours per day, as needed only.
