Job Summary: As a critical member of our Laser/Press Brake team, you will be responsible for supporting the programming, operation, and maintenance of Laser, Plasma, Forming, and Press Brake machinery within the production setting of OneH2. This will be done strictly to the engineering specifications and drawings provided for each job. Your duties will involve leveraging your expertise in these areas to ensure optimal system performance, high-quality results, and timely completion of all projects. Responsibilities: • Operates a press brake to fabricate components from sheet metal or metal plates. • Set up and operate CNC press brake and laser machines for production run. • To operate hand, power, and pneumatic tools as well as equipment safely and correctly • Prepares, sets up, and adjusts press brake as required by product plans and production • schedules. • Inspects products, evaluating finished pieces for compliance with quality standards and • specifications. • CNC programming familiarity. • Establish and operate sheet metal equipment under minimal supervision. • Performs routine maintenance on the Laser and press brake machine. • Create, select, align, and secure holding fixtures, attachments, and accessories for • machines • Safely load materials with overhead cranes, sheet lifts, forklifts, manually, etc. (as • required) • Read job travelers, drawings, nests, and programs to determine specifications, such as • materials/finish types to be used, machine set-up conditions, dimensions and tolerances, • proper labeling of parts, part accuracy, quantity, etc. • Accurately document/record information in written form on the provided job traveler. • Perform operator maintenance on machines to address quality/productivity issues per • established maintenance schedules and as needed. • Ability to lay out parts per Engineering prints. • Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate production. • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and make necessary adjustments. • Utilize shop math skills to calculate measurements and angles. • Available for overtime as needed to complete customer projects. • Comply with all safety policies and company practices/procedures. • Maintains a clean work area. • Repetitively lift and place metal blanks and workpieces into bins, boxes, etc. when unloading tables. Requirements: • Prefer a minimum of 2 years experience in press brake operation • Knowledge of blueprint reading. • Knowledge of tool selection based on part being manufactured. • Knowledge of calculating flat sizes using material bend allowance. • Basic math skills (ex. addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fraction decimal equivalents). • Basic computer skills. • Mechanical inclination. • Organizational skills and attention to detail. • Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. • Interpersonal and written communication. • Persistence when faced with problems.
