Position Summary: We are looking for candidates with proven experience in installing standing seam and metal roofing systems, but we are also open to training motivated individuals with a strong background in the field. This position offers competitive pay ranging from $28 to $50 per hour, with the potential for higher wages based on experience. As this is a prevailing wage position for government projects, pay will be aligned with applicable wage rates. Key Responsibilities: • Install standing seam, metal roofing, and architectural sheet metal systems on commercial buildings and other structures. • Measure, cut, and install metal components and flashing according to project specifications. • Ensure proper alignment, fitting, and securing of roofing materials to ensure durability and quality. • Interpret blueprints, project specifications, and other documents to determine material requirements and installation methods. • Ensure all installations meet safety standards, quality control guidelines, and industry codes. • Work with other crew members to complete roofing projects in a timely and efficient manner. • Maintain a clean and organized job site, following all safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment. • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on metal roofing systems as required. Qualifications: • Proven experience in architectural sheet metal installation, particularly with standing seam and metal roofing systems. • Experience with commercial roofing systems and architectural metal work is strongly preferred. • Strong knowledge of roofing tools, equipment, and safety procedures. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including working at heights. • Willingness to be trained and improve skills where necessary. • Must pass a background check as required by the job (government work). • Ability to work in various weather conditions. • OSHA 10 preferred Compensation: • $28 to $50 per hour, depending on experience. • Health, dental, and vision benefits after 90 days. • Paid time off and holidays.
