Essential Functions To perform this job, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Operate the saw and shear, may operate other CNC sheet metal fabrication machinery such as the CNC turret punch, router, press brakes, and lasers to saw, cut, shear, punch, bend, or straighten sheet metal or other parts and material • Perform setups or adjustments according to program directives, using shims, blocks, supports, and fixtures to ensure proper alignment of parts. • Determine project requirements, such as materials to be used, locations of cutting lines, or dimensions and tolerances using blueprints, drawings, work orders or written or verbal instructions • Lay out, measure, and mark dimensions and reference lines on material, using calculators, dividers, squares, or rulers • Measure and inspect completed workpieces to verify conformance to specifications, using micrometers, gauges, calipers, templates, or rulers • Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area • Follows directions consistently and accepts responsibility for actions and work product • Complies with applicable manufacturing processes, work procedures, and supervisor instructions • Adheres to safety guidelines and procedures; proactively identifies job hazards and collaborates with leadership to minimize hazards and ensure employee safety • Performs other job-related duties as assigned • Regular attendance on-site at the workplace is required • Level II may provide training to level I operators. Required Education and Work Experience • High School diploma or GED equivalent is required • Experience requirements vary based on position level.
