Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder with experience and ability to weld stainless and aluminum. In this role, you will be responsible for expertly welding aluminum and stainless components and structures, ensuring precision and quality in every project. Responsibilities • Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), and Laser welding. • Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate components • Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and sheet metal equipment to shape and assemble aluminum parts • Measure materials with calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments to ensure accurate fabrication according to specifications • Execute rigging, pipe threading, and assembly tasks necessary for structural or mechanical projects involving aluminum components • Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, inspecting welds for quality, and adhering to safety protocols on construction sites or manufacturing floors • Collaborate with team members on complex projects requiring mechanical knowledge, schematics interpretation, and fabrication expertise Skills • Extensive experience with construction sites and manufacturing environments involving aluminum and stainless welding projects • Proficiency in MIG, TIG, Laser welding techniques specific to aluminum and stainless alloys • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately • Skilled in using calipers, micrometers, hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment • Knowledge of ASME codes & standards related to welding practices and structural integrity • Familiarity with rigging operations including crane handling and forklift operation for material movement • Strong mechanical aptitude with understanding of pipe threading, ductwork fabrication, soldering, machining processes, and assembly procedures • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication processes • Ability to interpret schematics related to mechanical systems or structural frameworks involving aluminum components Pay is based on experience and capabilities. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who gets along and works well with coworkers.
