Sheet Metal Journeyman

Sheet Metal Journeyman Commercial HVAC sheet metal mechanic wanted for full time position. This is a working lead man position. Applicant must be able to coordinate and install all aspects of sheet metal work pertaining to commercial HVAC projects. Qualifications/Competencies: • Must have minimum of 5 years’ experience installing sheet metal duct on commercial projects such as (schools, hospitals, multi-story buildings, colleges, new construction, demo & remodel) • Must have all hand tools necessary to complete projects in a timely manner • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret drawings • Measure appropriate size of sheet metal • Valid Driver’s license • Pass Pre-employment drug screening • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions • Must be able to lift 75 lbs. and frequently carry 40 lbs. unassisted • Ability to lift tools, duct and fixtures overhead • Ability to work at heights including climbing on ladders, scaffolding and stair cases • Ability to stand for long periods of time as well as bend, crouch, kneel and work in small spaces Benefits Package: Health and Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, Holiday Pay, IRA, Supplemental Policies (Accident, Disability, etc.), Company Vehicle Compensation Based on Experience Job Type: Full-time Schedule: • 10 hour shift Ability to Commute: • Shreveport, LA 71107 (Required) Ability to Relocate: • Shreveport, LA 71107: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
