This role involves cutting, bending, shaping, and assembling sheet metal components according to blueprints and specifications. The ideal candidate has hands-on fabrication experience, mechanical aptitude, and attention to detail to ensure quality and accuracy. Key Responsibilities: • Fabricate and assemble sheet metal parts using hand tools, power tools, and machinery • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions • Operate equipment such as shears, brakes, grinders, presses, and welders • Measure, cut, and form sheet metal to precise dimensions • Perform finishing tasks such as sanding, deburring, and grinding • Inspect completed parts for accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment • Assist with general shop duties and support other team members as needed Requirements: • Previous experience as a sheet metal fabricator or in a similar trade • Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions • Familiarity with fabrication tools, welding, and shop equipment • Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical work throughout the day • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training a plus Benefits: • $16/hour DOE • Weekly pay (if applicable) • Health, dental, and vision benefits (if offered) • Paid holidays and vacation time • Opportunities for overtime and career advancement
