Sheet Metal Fabricator - 3rd Shift - Components Division

Job Description: Duties include; set-up and run: turrets, punching machines, presses, press brakes, laser, shears, spot welder, pemnutter or any other equipment within your department. Must be able to work and communicate effectively in a team environment, be a team player and willing to cross train in all areas of the department is required on a regular basis. Must be willing to work overtime (10-12 hrs.) when needed. Regular inspection of production is necessary to insure quality. Must also be willing to cross train within other areas of Mechanical Components. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Ability to set up and run: turrets, punching machines, presses, press brakes, lasers, shears, and pemnutter. • Individual must be able to read blueprints and use measuring tools. • Applicant must be a team player, self-starter, safety conscious, have good communication skills, innovative, mechanically inclined, understand and be responsible for material ordering and scheduling of orders. • Individual may have to stand for up to 12 hours and lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly. • The applicant must be able to adapt to a fast-pace work environment with minimal training. • Applicant must have a proven track record of customer service skills. • Applicant must have at least 2 years of sheet metal experience MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • Good communications skills • Basic computer skills are required • Must possess good eyesight and hand dexterity • Must be willing to cross-train • 1 year of mechanics and electronics experience • Must be able to comprehend assembly drawings and bills of material • Must be able to follow set-up directions, and understand product specifications • Must be able to stand for up to 12 hours a day and lift up to 50 lbs. • Overtime will be required ITW is an equal opportunity employer. Manufacturing Engineer - Sheet Metal & Laser Fabrication

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to support and improve production processes within our precision sheet-metal fabrication facility. This role will focus on optimizing laser cutting operations, programming, tooling, and manufacturability, while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the plant. Lake Air Products Offers: • Competitive Pay • Full Benefits • 401(k) with company match • Paid Time Off (PTO) and Holiday Pay • Gym Reimbursement • Tuition Reimbursement Key Responsibilities • Program, operate, and troubleshoot Mitsubishi fiber laser systems using Accufab and Ncell • Develop and maintain laser cut programs, nesting strategies, and machine parameters for high throughput and quality • Create and modify 3D CAD models and 2D production drawings in SolidWorks • Support DFM/DFA in collaboration with engineering, quality, and production teams • Provide technical support for fabrication processes including laser cutting, forming, welding, assembly, and finishing' • Implement process improvements to reduce scrap, increase throughput, and ensure product quality • Develop work instructions, process documentation, and standard operating procedures • Support new product introductions and production ramps • Drive root-cause analysis and corrective action initiatives • Work closely with machine operators to optimize daily performance and troubleshoot issues Qualifications • 5–10 years hands-on manufacturing engineering experience in metal fabrication or similar environment • Proficiency with Mitsubishi fiber laser systems and nesting/programming software (Accufab, Ncell) • Expert-level SolidWorks experience (parts, assemblies, drawings, sheet-metal modules • Strong understanding of fabrication processes: laser cutting, press brake forming, welding, finishing • Proven history of implementing process improvements and supporting production teams • Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing documentation • Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills • Ability to work hands-on in a fast-paced shop-floor environment Preferred • Experience in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing setting • Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies • Familiarity with GD&T and precision fabrication tolerances Please note that if this position is located in our Little Chute, WI facility, it may be subject to export control regulation.
