FPKS is seeking a skilled and experienced Plumber to join our maintenance team, servicing a portfolio of apartment communities with older plumbing systems. This role requires hands-on expertise in diagnosing and repairing aging infrastructure, including cast iron, galvanized, and copper piping. The ideal candidate is a reliable, self-directed professional who is comfortable working in occupied and unoccupied units. Key Responsibilities: • Diagnose and repair plumbing issues in residential apartment units and common areas • Work on older plumbing systems (e.g., cast iron drains, galvanized supply lines, etc.) • Repair or replace water heaters, faucets, garbage disposals, toilets, and other fixtures • Perform leak detection, re-piping, drain clearing, and minor sewer line work • Assist with emergency repairs and on-call support as needed • Ensure compliance with all safety codes and building regulations • Accurately document work performed using maintenance software or logs • Communicate effectively with residents, property managers, and other team members Qualifications: • Minimum 1-3 years of professional plumbing experience (residential preferred) • Strong understanding of older plumbing systems and common repair practices • Must supply your own hand and power tools • Ability to work independently and manage multiple service requests daily • Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation • Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in confined spaces, and climb ladders as needed • Must pass a background check and eligibility verification Preferred Qualifications: • Plumbing license or certification (Journeyman or higher preferred) • Experience working in multifamily or property management environments • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus What We Offer: • Competitive hourly pay • Consistent, full-time hours • Opportunity to grow within a reputable property management team • Supportive, team-oriented work environment Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Work Location: In person
