Responsible for maintaining, testing, inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing industrial and commercial plumbing, heating, potable water, wastewater, heated water, gas, air, liquid fuels, and fire suppression systems according to blueprints, manufacture installation manuals, and engineering specifications. Conducts regular preventive maintenance on associated equipment. Services, repairs, or replaces defective parts in units and equipment including piping, valves, fittings, regulators, thermostats, automatic switches, controls, relays, motors, pumps, fans, belts, hangers, fixtures, heat exchangers, coils, etc. Tests joints and insulates pipes of associated systems. Maintains, repairs, and installs plumbing fixtures and appliances. Provides service-related information to the Equipment Manufacturers/Service Managers regarding estimates, problems, and customer feedback. Provides technical support and accurate paperwork to the shop lead, engineers, and managers as required. Locates and marks underground utilities. Performs maintenance in accordance with building codes, manufacturer recommendations, and customer requirements. Assists with the Hazardous Waste Storage and Disposal Program to ensure the storage and disposal of Hazardous Waste is accomplished in accordance with the Federal and State rules and regulations. Performs other related duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications: • Minimum of 5 + years’ experience servicing plumbing, heating, potable water, wastewater, liquid fuels, and/or fire suppression systems in the commercial and/or industrial field is required. • Minimum of an Oklahoma State Journeyman license is required. • Required to obtain Class D Waterworks Operator within 12 months of employment. • Must be at least 18 years of age or older • Must be a US or Permanent Citizen due to contract requirements Preferred Qualifications: • OSHA Hazardous Waste Operator (HAZWOPER) certification preferred.
