ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: • Possess a strong sense of urgency. • Receive/complete work assignments, pertinent paperwork and enter remarks in EAM system. • Diagnose diverse service issues, obtain any replacement parts, and be able to fully explain what the issue is and what is needed to correct. • Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures • Collaborate with general contractors, electricians, and other construction professionals. • Read and follow building plans and blueprints. • Respond to, diagnose, and resolve plumbing emergencies. • Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems. • Keep accurate records of time spent working, description of work performed and materials used. • Establish or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules. • Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of the product. • Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase the efficiency of the shop, department, or work crew. • Prepare complex prints to indicate new/modified systems. • Respond to trouble calls. • Initiate orders for materials or equipment to effect repairs. • Solder, braze, and/or welds as necessary. • Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists and train lesser experienced employees in solving work problems. • Perform scheduled maintenance. • Maintain all necessary records, files, and reports.
