Job Title: Plumbing Helper Job Description Join our team as a Plumbing Helper in either State College, PA or Altoona, PA, working alongside a plumbing lead in new residential construction projects. This is a direct hire opportunity after a six-month contract, with work primarily involving Pex and PVC in two-story and three-story townhomes or multi-family builds. Responsibilities • Assist in the installation and fitting of pipes using Pex and PVC materials. • Collaborate effectively with the plumbing lead and other team members. • Interpret and work from blueprints for construction tasks. • Maintain and utilize personal hand tools for plumbing tasks. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Plumbing Install Technician

Position Overview The Install Plumber is responsible for performing installations of equipment and drains for our residential customers. Key Responsibilities • Complete plumbing, drain cleaning, and other related in-home install calls. • Serve the clients of 1 Tom Plumber by expertly servicing customers’ entire plumbing systems. • Wear floor savers while in the client’s home and maintain a neat work area when performing a repair or scheduled service. • Always explain to the client what service you are performing. Explain and show the client how 1 Tom Plumber provides superior service. • Understand your sales criteria and hold yourself accountable for exceeding revenue goals. • Establish customer rapport to sell the right products and services. • Re-check all plumbing repairs and installations after completion to ensure everything is working properly and that we did indeed fix it right the first time. • Educate and assist customers in choosing the best finance options and maintenance plans. • Show yourself as professional and knowledgeable to win new referrals and repeat business. • Maintain your truck so that it is neat and clean on the inside and outside at all times. Work alongside customer service and dispatch to ensure overall success of the business. • Be accurate and timely with invoices, time cards, curbside feedback, and option sheets. • Obey the company Code of Ethics and the Team Rules. • Maintain a clean, organized job site and well-inventoried truck. • Always be safety conscious both on the job and while driving. • Participate actively in all training exercises, morning meetings, and retreats. • Train and mentor apprentices to ensure quick, accurate repairs and installations.
