Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. As a Journeyperson Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. Duties • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances. • Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of plumbing systems. • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete plumbing tasks. • Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and perform necessary repairs. • Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure efficient project completion. • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions regarding plumbing work. • Adhere to safety protocols while working on construction sites to maintain a safe working environment. Experience • Proven experience as a Journeyperson Plumber with a strong understanding of plumbing codes and regulations. • Mechanical knowledge is essential; familiarity with HVAC systems is preferred. • Experience in reading blueprints and schematics related to plumbing installations. • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to plumbing tasks. • Background in maintenance person services or carpentry is a plus, enhancing versatility on the job site. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced construction environment. Journeyman Plumber

JOB DESCRIPTION Position Journeyman Plumber (Level II) – Reports to Foreman Summary Assists Foreman on the installation of plumbing for residential, commercial and industrial projects. Essential Function Working safely at the job site taking direction to accomplish the following: 1. Coordinate with Foreman on daily tasks. 2. Emphasizing use of tools, equipment, and PPE. 3. Regularly reporting job status to Foreman. 4. Helps develop Apprentices by teaching them the fundamentals of plumbing installation. 5. Complete job site task requirements as assigned. Competencies 1. Ability to read blueprints. 2. Knowledge of proper installation and practices of plumbing systems. 3. Ability to listen and follow instructions. 4. Ability to work at heights. 5. Proficiency knowledge of different piping systems. 6. Ability to work unsupervised. Duties and Tasks 1. Installation of piping. 2. Installation of plumbing fixtures. 3. Insulating pipe. 4. Working with Cranes. (Rigging and signaling). 5. Ability of threading pipe, grooving, soldering, brazing, and pressing. 6. General knowledge of underground piping. Measures of Performance 1. Works safely and practices safety at all times. Goal of ZERO accidents. 2. Performs tasks on time or above expectations. 3. Retains skills and advances quality level of plumbing work. 4. Performs work task with no supervision. Work Environment This job requires prolonged periods of working outside, standing, kneeling, bending working in the heat and cold weather. Requires the ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs. Physical Demands This job requires physical work, lifting materials, moving pipe and the ability to work in the field. Must be able to physically perform the required tasks. Position Type/ Expected Hours of Work This is a full time position. Monday through Friday 7:00am-3:30pm. Evening and weekend work may be required in the event of weather or job schedule. Required Education and Experience 1. High School diploma or equivalent GED. 2. A minimum of 5 years working in plumbing field. 3. Experience working with hand tools and equipment. 4. OSHA training beneficial.
