Plumbing Installer Commercial

We offer a full range of benefits and are now looking to hire Rough Plumbing Installers for our Multifamily/Commercial division in the Riverside area! General Responsibility: The duties of the Multi Family Rough Plumbing Installer is to installs pipes and fixtures associated with water distribution, and drainage systems in residential and commercial structures. Inspects pipe drainage and other plumbing systems for compliance with local city regulations. Significant Duties: • Interprets ISO metric plumbing drawings and building specifications to layout pipes, drainage systems • Installs pipes and fixtures, such as sinks, toilets and water heaters • Install underground soil pipes for drainage in plumbing ditches • Installs support blocks for pipes or hang steel supports from ceilings prior to pipe installation • Assembles, installs prefab material, fittings and valves for installation • Modifies length of pipes and other plumbing materials as needed for a building • Assemble pipe sections, tubing and fittings, using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, or soldering • Uses saws, pipe cutters, drills and ladders as necessary • Measures, cut thread and install pipe to required angle, using hand and power tools or machines • Performs all duties of a Plumbing Apprentice • Collaborates with contractors, construction workers, electricians, carpenters, concrete, landscapers and drywallers in installing and repairing plumbing pipes • Fill pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air and observe pressure gauges to detect leaks • Performs inspections of plumbing systems to identify and replace damaged parts • May oversee and direct workers such as apprentices, labors and plumbers engaged in pipe cutting and installation of plumbing systems • Travel to different jobsites as directed by management • Performs within the values and guidelines of 20/20 and adheres to the 20/20 Policies and Procedures • Follows health and safety standards and complies with building codes • Believes in and champions 20/20’s core values and inspires others to do the same. • Other duties or projects as assigned. Skills and Qualifications: • High School diploma and/or GED, plus three to five years’ of Construction plumbing installation experience, preferably knowledge in construction practices and procedures. • Must have reliable transportation to travel to different jobsites. • Able to take directions for plumbing work to be done and perform tasks with limited supervision • Knowledge in piping, drainage and ventilation systems • Experience reading technical designs and blueprints • Knowledge of the practices, methods, materials, tools, and equipment of the plumbing trade • Must be familiar with aspects of plumbing from the ground through Topout Inspection • Detail oriented ability to prioritize with strong organization skills. • Ability to adapt to changing business needs. Physical Requirements: The position of Multi Family Rough Plumbing Installer requires that you are able to lift objects that weight up to 75 pounds, if required to lift more than 75lbs. employees must ensure buddy system, climb a ladder, squat, kneel, twist, bend, and work above head and below waist. Exposed to constant work in outdoor weather conditions.
