Maintenance Plumber

We are looking for a Maintenance Plumber to join our team. Description: • Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems according to specifications and plumbing codes • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings • Use a variety of hand tools and power tools. • Cut and thread pipe using pipe cutters and cutting torch • Assemble, install, and repair plumbing fixtures such as sinks, commodes, bathtubs, water heaters, hot water tanks, garbage disposals dishwashers and water softeners. • Repair and maintain plumbing by replacing washer in leaky faucets, mending burst pipes, and opening clogged drains and toilets. • Other duties as assigned Requirements: • 2 years of recent experience as a plumber repairing indoor and outdoor plumbing systems • High School Diploma/GED preferred • Must be a US Citizen • Must have a valid SC driver’s license and be able to operate a motor vehicle • Must be able to lift 30 lbs. unassisted • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English • Must be able to pass a background investigation and pass a physical exam • Must have availability Monday-Friday, 7am – 4pm, with occasional altered/extended shifts and weekends may be required at times. The General Manager will play a key role in managing the North Charleston location, optimizing efficiency, leading teams, and driving business growth. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Leadership & Team Management: • Lead and manage the North Charleston location of Top Choice Plumbing, ensuring smooth operations, strong team collaboration, and a positive work environment. • Provide direct oversight and support to branch managers, field technicians, customer service staff, and office personnel. • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous development by mentoring, coaching, and evaluating team performance. • Conduct daily morning meetings with staff outlined in GM roles procedures. Expansion & Growth • Lead and work with Regional Manager in the expansion efforts at the North Charleston Top Choice Plumbing location in South Carolina, managing all aspects of this process, including staffing, facility setup, and operational integration. • Collaborate with executive leadership Regional Manager to define and execute growth strategies, expanding service areas, and increasing market share. • Ensure seamless integration of new technicians into the existing company infrastructure, aligning operations and maintaining consistent service quality. • Ensure all new equipment and vehicles are integrated into the company with proper staff training and working with Regional Manager. Customer Relations & Business Development: • Build and maintain strong relationships with key commercial clients, ensuring satisfaction, loyalty, and long-term partnerships. • Develop and implement strategies for new customer acquisition and market expansion to increase revenue across all service areas. • Address customer issues or complaints in a timely and effective manner, maintaining high standards of quality customer service. • Excellent communication is required with ALL clients and staff.
