Description: • Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems according to specifications and plumbing codes • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings • Use a variety of hand tools and power tools. • Cut and thread pipe using pipe cutters and cutting torch • Assemble, install, and repair plumbing fixtures such as sinks, commodes, bathtubs, water heaters, hot water tanks, garbage disposals dishwashers and water softeners. • Repair and maintain plumbing by replacing washer in leaky faucets, mending burst pipes, and opening clogged drains and toilets. • Other duties as assigned Requirements: • 2 years of recent experience as a plumber repairing indoor and outdoor plumbing systems • High School Diploma/GED preferred • Must be a US Citizen • Must have a valid SC driver’s license and be able to operate a motor vehicle • Must be able to lift 30 lbs. unassisted • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English • Must be able to pass a background investigation and pass a physical exam • Must have availability Monday-Friday, 7am – 4pm, with occasional altered/extended shifts and weekends may be required at times.
