Job Posting: Plumbing Specialist Location: Mt Vernon IL Job Type: Full-Time Salary: $80,000.00 per year We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Plumbing Project Specialist to join our growing Construction Division. You will be responsible for the successful oversight and execution of large-scale plumbing projects within retail and commercial environments. This position demands a blend of technical plumbing expertise, strong project management skills, excellent communication and organizational skills. Key Responsibilities: • Project Leadership: Manage plumbing construction projects from initiation to closeout. • Subcontractor Management: Select, onboard, and oversee plumbing subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. • Estimating & Budgeting: Develop accurate and competitive project estimates, manage project budgets, and track costs to ensure financial objectives are met. • Site Supervision & Quality Control: Travel to job sites as needed to monitor progress, ensure compliance with specifications, and maintain high standards of workmanship and safety. • Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, providing regular updates and resolving any issues promptly. • Technical Oversight: Provide expert plumbing guidance and problem-solving on complex project challenges. • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, change orders, progress reports, and closeout documents.
