Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumbing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing systems and possess a variety of technical skills. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. The Plumbing Technician will work closely with clients to ensure their plumbing needs are met efficiently and effectively. Duties • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances. • Diagnose plumbing issues using various tools and techniques. • Collaborate with clients to understand their plumbing needs and provide appropriate solutions. • Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential issues. • Utilize tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, and scissor lifts for troubleshooting and repairs. • Engage in technical sales by recommending products or services that meet client needs. • Work with HVAC/R systems as required for integrated solutions. • Apply knowledge of hydraulics and mechanical systems in plumbing applications. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to all safety regulations. Requirements • Proven experience as a Plumbing Technician or similar role. • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various plumbing issues. • Familiarity with electrical systems related to plumbing installations (e.g., voltmeter, ammeter). • Experience with stick welding is a plus. • Knowledge of HVAC/R systems is advantageous. • Ability to operate scissor lifts safely when required. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members. • A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites. Summary The Commercial Plumbing Outside Salesperson is responsible for increasing sales and profit through the acquisition and development of new business, maintaining existing business and providing excellent customer service.
