Commercial Plumbing Outside Sales - Laurel

Summary The Commercial Plumbing Outside Salesperson is responsible for increasing sales and profit through the acquisition and development of new business, maintaining existing business and providing excellent customer service. Education & Experience • High School Diploma or Equivalent AND 2 years of the following experience is required: • Plumbing Industry Experience • Contractor and Building Industry Experience • Outside Sales Experience • Ability to read blueprints preferred • Must possess basic computer skills and the ability to read a map and/or follow written directions. • Must pass company required drug screen and physical. Physical Requirements Must be able to lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs.; must have physical mobility and dexterity to frequently stand, bend, push, twist, kneel, climb, squat, stoop, and reach overhead. Occasionally works with tools and equipment. Considerable mental/visual concentration, coordinating manual dexterity with mental/visual attention. Construction and Warehouse environment with variable but moderately high noise levels. Must wear closed-toe shoes, gloves, and other protective items as required. Work in varying weather conditions. A consistent presence at work is required. Must be a minimum age of 21 years old and maintain a valid driver’s license and have the ability to travel to Coburn’s customer and company branch locations. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Focus Area: Performance Measure: New Business Development Sales volume and profit are increased by acquiring new accounts and successful bidding.
