BIM Coordinator

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented BIM Model Coordinator/Content Manager to join our Mechanical & Plumbing team. In this role, you will manage and coordinate Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes across multiple projects, ensuring accurate design, documentation, and collaboration between disciplines. This position is critical in delivering high-quality mechanical and plumbing systems through advanced modeling, coordination, and communication. Key Responsibilities Database & Content Management • Develop, manage, and maintain CADMEP Database Configurations for use across all BIM Projects. • Setup & Maintain Fabrication Profiles throughout the project as needed. • Perform health checks regularly on the database to maintain integrity & correct data as needed. • Utilize additional third party software as needed to effectively utilize & maintain database integrity. Model Coordination & Management • Develop, manage, and maintain BIM models for mechanical and plumbing systems using Revit and Navisworks. • Coordinate with other trades (architectural, structural, electrical, etc.) to ensure clash-free and constructible models. • Perform clash detection and resolution using Navisworks Manage. • Ensure models comply with project BIM Execution Plans and company standards. Collaboration & Communication • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and field teams to ensure model accuracy and constructability. • Participate in coordination meetings and provide regular updates on model progress and issues. • Communicate effectively with external consultants, contractors, and clients regarding BIM-related matters. Documentation & Standards • Generate construction documents, shop drawings, and fabrication models from BIM. • Maintain version control and track documentation of model changes and updates. • Ensure adherence to industry standards, codes, and company BIM protocols. Quality Control & Support • Conduct quality checks on models to ensure accuracy and completeness. • Provide technical support and training to team members on BIM tools and workflows. • Assist in developing and improving BIM standards, templates, and processes. Qualifications • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. • Minimum 3 years of BIM coordination experience in mechanical and plumbing trades. • Proficiency with Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, CADMEP, and BIM 360. • Strong knowledge of mechanical and plumbing systems and construction practices. • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills • Experience in managing & maintaining CADMep Databases for integration into Revit Models for fabrication & material purchasing. • Experience with fabrication software (SysQue, Trimble, CADMep). • Familiarity with ISO 19650 and other BIM standards. • Knowledge of laser scanning and point cloud integration. HVAC Technician- 1st shift

Job Description: The HVAC Technician is responsible for performing maintenance services and repairs in the areas of HVAC systems, plumbing, carpentry, plastering, machine servicing, and electrical. Duties and Responsibilities • PLC systems for HVAC • HVAC System repairs / upgrades • Maintain Freon usage Log • Ventilation system installations & maintenance • Gas distribution line install / maintenance • Machine repair • Troubleshoot and correct setups, tooling and malfunctions • Operate the personnel lifts • Operate forklifts • Perform repairs and adaptions of equipment, such as; changing air, grease and coolant lines, switches, belts, guards • Fabricate miscellaneous items out of wood, metal and Plexiglas • Build or fabricate labels, devices, etc. to improve quality and production • Use hand and power tools • Move equipment • Plumbing, welding, construction of metal/wood, brazing, soldering, maintenance and inventory supply check in / out using CMMS system • Lookup MRO parts using CMMS system, if not available provide all relevant information to clerk, engineer or manager for prompt order of repair parts and rebuild machines as required • All non-routine machine maintenance and upkeep machines as required • Evaluate / repair / replace electrical motors and component • Wire machines • Install new equipment to meet all production needs • Basic PLC maintenance • Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area • Practice 5Ss Knowledge, Skills and Abilities • Understand and follow verbal and written instructions, as well as drawings and blueprints • Certified fork lift operator • Welding • Industrial electricity/wiring • ARI EPA Certification for purchase / use of Freon Education and Experience Requirements • 40 semester hours of industrial trade training or 5 years HVAC experience • Qualified electrician and basic electronics Milwaukee Tool is an equal opportunity employer.
