KY Licensed Journeyman Plumber

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of commercial and Industrial experience. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Duties • Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing equipment. • Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of plumbing systems. • Perform pipe threading and welding as needed for various installations. • Use power tools and hand tools effectively to complete plumbing tasks. • Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or potential problems. • Assemble and install plumbing systems according to specifications. • Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters, to ensure seamless project completion. • Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment. • Perform heavy lifting when required for installation or repair tasks. Qualifications • Proven experience as a plumber or in a similar role is preferred. • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively. • Familiarity with basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to installations. • Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently. • Experience with heavy lifting tasks associated with plumbing work. • Valid commercial driving license is a plus but not mandatory. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with clients and team members. • A background in carpentry is advantageous but not required. Journeyman Plumbers

We will not waste your time, we will pay for your experience and trade knowledge. We are looking for motivated, licensed plumbers with the ability to lead small projects and service existing systems. Duties include but are not limited to: PLUMBER PRIMARY PURPOSE Constructs, erects, installs, and repairs plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment using plumber's hand -tools and power tools, and conforming to local building codes. TYPICAL DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS • Study blueprints, sketches, or building plans for information pertaining to type of material and piping required and dimensions of plumbing system to be installed. • Select type and size of pie and related materials according to job plans and specifications. • Inspect work sites to determine presence of obstructions. • Plan sequence of installation to avoid obstructions and activities of other construction workers. • Cut pipe using hacksaw, pipe cutters, hammer and chisel, cutting torch, and pipe cutting machine. • Thread pipe using threading machine. • Bend pipe by hand or with pipe-bending machine. • Assemble and install a variety of metal and non-metal pipe and pipe fittings, including those made of brass, copper, lead, glass, and plastic. • Fit and install prefabricated sinks, faucets, showers, etc. • Join piping by means of threaded, caulked, wiped, soldered, brazed, fused, or cemented joints. • Secure pipes to structure with clamps, brackets, and hangers using hand tools. • Test plumbing system for leaks by increasing pressure in pipes and observing gauges attached to pipes for indication of leaks. • Follow directions, plans, and blueprints. • Rate information using standards which can be measured or checked. • Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy. • Make decisions based on measurable criteria. • Lift and carry objects of varying weights. • Perform work from scaffolding, ladders, or other structures. • Perform work overhead, beneath structure, and from various other positions as required by working conditions. • Detect, recognize and respond to dangerous conditions or situations.
