Job Details Description United Dairy Farmers is seeking a Plumber - Store Maintenance Technician for our retail store sites. This is a full-time position Mon - Fri 7:30 am - 4pm with "on-call" time as well. Plumbing experience is required, certification is a plus. Experience in retail or convenience store plumbing/maintenance is ideal. Pay will be based on experience. Responsibilities for this position include, but is not limited to: • Carry out regular maintenance of plumbing at UDF retail store sites • Perform installation of basic plumbing fixtures • Inspect previously installed plumbing for repair / replacement scenarios • Perform any necessary repairs to previously installed water line systems • Collaborate with and manage plumbing issues with hired out general contractors • Keep up to date with current safety regulations and requirements for the various plumbing systems a company installs and maintains • Communicate well with UDF store associates and operational supervisors to their satisfaction • Communicate well with team members and fellow employees • Manage a work log via phone technology • Keep detailed reports via work notes of work done at various job sites • Provide information to department leadership daily. • Position reports to department Director Job Type: Full-time Experience • Plumbing: 3 years (Preferred) License/Certification • Plumbing Certification (Preferred) Work Location: In person

Ability to use plumbing drawings, schematics, control diagrams, and vendor manuals. 2. Must be able to read and understand building system drawings, schematics and manufacturer's manuals. Must be familiar with applicable codes. LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS: Required: Journeyman Plumber license. Prefer: Certification in repair and testing of backflow preventers and Certification in testing and repair of fire sprinkler systems. Works weekends, shifts and holidays as required.
