Principal Characteristics of Work Types of Activities Performed Frequently: The Plumber is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems, including water supply and drainage systems, toilets, sinks, faucets, and water heaters. They troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing issues such as leaks, clogs, and system malfunctions, while performing routine inspections to identify potential problems and ensure optimal system performance. The role also involves operating plumbing tools and equipment, including pipe cutters, wrenches, augers, and pipe benders, and cutting, threading, and joining pipes using hand tools, pipe fittings, and welding equipment.
