Job Title: Experienced Installer Department: Installer Reports to: Installation Manager Work Hours: 7:00am - 4:00pm Monday to Friday (some Saturdays and overtime required) Pay Scale: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour DOE + Benefits Position Summary: To install heating and air conditioning systems to company standards providing the customer with a high quality experience. Supervise the work of other installers maintaining high quality and timely job performance Required Qualifications: • High school diploma or its equivalent • Proficient in installing Gas Pipe • Proficient in installing Refrigeration Pipe • Proficient in all HVAC functional design and installation of ductwork systems • Proficient understanding of refrigerant, gas and electric furnaces, heat pumps, troubleshooting and installation of all residential and light commercial systems • Able to train and supervise others • Exceptional Safety knowledge of tools, testing devices and surroundings. • General knowledge in all HVAC low voltage systems • Ability to consult on customer complaints and give solutions that are beneficial for customer as well as company • Enroll in advanced HVAC training classes, 20 hours per year • Obtain all Installer based NATE Certifications and keep status current • Ability to test and balance systems • Understand and apply all relevant codes Qualifications desired: • Excellent verbal skills • Professional phone skills • Strong interpersonal skills • Energetic personality • Well organized and ability to work independently HVAC installer, journeyman, installation technician, HVAC HVAC Technician, AC installer, AC Company

Essential Functions 1 Installs, repairs, and maintains water fixtures on or in city property to improve or maintain level of service; checks restroom fixtures, repairs any toilets, urinals, seats, or other plumbing, and addresses clogs and damages. 2 Plans and implements the installation of natural gas pipelines and potable or wastewater pipes, including the cost projection for parts and man-hours to support the installation of improvement projects. 3 Instructs and educates lower-level plumbers in the uniform plumbing code, the use of plumbing tools, and plumbing practices to qualify them for more responsibility and promotion. 4 Serves as a crew leader to ensure jobs are completed according to code and maintains leave use, hours worked, and performance records on lower-level plumbers. 5 Measures, cuts, and threads iron pipe for natural gas pipelines or water/wastewater lines. 6 Removes clogs from wastewater systems using manual and/or small power tools. 7 Makes minor mechanical repairs to small water or fuel pumps; maintains, repairs, and fixes irrigation lines and related issues. 8 Performs any and all other work as needed or assigned. Knowledge and Skills 1 Knowledge of Uniform Plumbing Code and safety guidelines. 2 Knowledge of welding procedures and guidelines. 3 Knowledge of plumbing hand tools and ability to use them. 4 Ability to plan and schedule the work of a group of plumbers and facilitate training and other educational opportunities. 5 Ability to cut and thread iron pipe with appropriate machines. 6 Ability to read blueprints. 7 Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions. 8 Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships. Minimum Qualifications Licenses and Certifications Current Texas Journeyman (or higher) Plumber's license. Valid Driver's License with good driving record.
