D.W.V piping and Domestic water piping. • Review blueprints and building codes to determine work details and procedures. Study building plan to assess materials needed for jobs. • Actively participate in new construction and service plumbing work. • Aid and assist plumber with tasks while learning a trade. About the Job: As a Plumbing Technician, you will be responsible for producing, testing, installing, and documenting high-pressure stainless steel gas movement tubes. The tube components are used on our hydrogen production and distribution equipment. Precision measuring, cutting, and bending on precision stainless steel tubing is required. Installing specialty stainless steel fittings on the tubing is also required. The stainless-steel tubing components are used on hydrogen fuel delivery systems, pumps, and various valve technologies. Experience and Abilities: • Ability to read blueprints, CAD drawings, and sketches. • Ability to use precision tubing benders, tubing cutters, and specialty. • Pipe threading machines for forming precision stainless steel tubing. • Ability to maintain production pace with minimal supervision. • Ability to maintain a "clean" laboratory type working environment at all. • Working with low, medium and high-pressure testing apparatus. • Nitrogen Media. • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
