Plumb Level is currently hiring for a full-time Plumbing Technician at the Journeyman level to go out to our clients' homes and businesses to service, remodel, and install plumbing systems, sewer pipes, and water heaters in the Brenham, TX area. This journeyman plumber position earns up to $140,000, depending on skills and performance, and works 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday with occasional after-hours, weekends, and holidays. Maintenance / Plumber

JobID: 2304 Position Type: Maintenance/Plumber Date Posted: 10/23/2025 Location: Maintenance Department Primary Purpose: Under general supervision, maintain the flow and drainage of water, air, and other gases by assembling, installing, and repairing pipes, fittings, and plumbing fixtures districtwide. Maintain and provide for the safe condition and operation of all plumbing systems in district facilities. Qualifications (Experience/Education/Certification): High school diploma or GED; clear and valid Texas driver’s license; Texas journeyman plumber’s license Major Responsibilities: Maintenance and Repair • Assemble, install, maintain, pressure test all pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating water, drainage, sprinkler, and gas systems according to specifications and plumbing codes. • Detect needed repairs on building, grounds, and equipment following established inspection procedures. Determine sources of plumbing malfunctions and complete repairs as indicated or according to work orders. • Install and repair pipes, fittings, valves, fixtures, and plumbing system equipment including sinks, commodes, and water heaters. Install and repair kitchen equipment such as gas stoves and dishwashers. • Receive and complete work orders. Select material and hardware and make time and materials estimates. Maintain accurate records on material and labor used. • Inspect jobs upon completion and ensure areas are clean. • Work with building principals and supervisors to complete projects.. • Respond to emergency calls as needed. Safety • Maintain inventory of district-owned tools, equipment, and materials. Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment and ensure equipment is in safe operating condition. • Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties including lifting and climbing.
