Job Title: Pipefitter Company: United Trades of America Location: Orlando, Florida Job Description: United Trades of America is seeking experienced Pipefitters to join our team for a key project in Orlando, Florida. As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for installing, assembling, fabricating, and maintaining piping systems for various construction projects, ensuring all work complies with project specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards. Key Responsibilities: • Assemble and install pipe systems, pipe supports, and hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required specifications. • Interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to determine the layout and installation procedures for pipe systems. • Install and maintain pipe systems for heating, cooling, and industrial purposes. • Inspect work sites, measure, and mark pipes for cutting and threading. • Test pipe systems for leaks using pressure gauges and other equipment. • Collaborate with other team members, such as welders and project managers, to complete tasks on time. • Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with local codes and regulations. Requirements: • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Pipefitter in the construction or industrial sector. • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings. • Familiarity with pipe materials (e.g., carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, PVC) and installation techniques. • Strong knowledge of safety guidelines and OSHA regulations. • Ability to work independently and in a team setting. • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods. • High school diploma or equivalent; pipefitter certification is a plus. • Valid driver's license.
