We are currently seeking experienced welders to join our National Projects team. Our crews work locally in various locations or travel to project sites throughout the country with a large volume of our work located in Southern Arizona. We also have active work opportunities throughout the rest of Arizona, Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Florida, and elsewhere. Much of our work is federal, so employees have the opportunity to earn prevailing wages (Davis Bacon Act) based on their location. Responsibilities. • Take charge of all assigned work and maintain a sense of ownership of all scope on-site • Walk the site in an observant manner, taking note of hazards and, when appropriate, correcting them accordingly • Develop an awareness of the entire project to include other trade work • Communicate with fellow crew members, assigned foreman, and with public, customers, or adjacent trade crews when necessary • Use various welding methods to create new piping systems and repair existing ones Requirements. • Be able to test out in accordance with ASME Section IX and weld pipe in the 6g position
