Overview We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems in various settings, including commercial and industrial environments. As a Pipefitter, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency and safety of our piping systems. Duties • Install and maintain piping systems for HVAC and plumbing applications. • Utilize tools such as calipers to ensure precise measurements and fittings. • Perform welding tasks including FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) and Stick welding as required. • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine layout and installation procedures. • Ensure all installations are plumb, level, and meet industry standards. • Conduct regular inspections of piping systems to identify leaks or malfunctions. • Collaborate with other trades on construction sites to ensure seamless project execution. • Solder pipes as needed for various applications. Experience • Proven experience as a Pipefitter or in a similar role within the construction or manufacturing industry. • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing standards, and safety regulations. • Familiarity with welding techniques including FCAW and Stick welding is preferred. • Ability to read schematics and blueprints effectively. • Experience working on construction sites with an understanding of site protocols. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
