QUALIFIACTIONS: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of plumbing systems and be able to work effectively in various environments. This role requires a Journeyman Plumber License, a minimum of five (5) yeas experience in maintenance, water distribution and drainage systems. Candidate must have a working knowledge of commercial anti-backflow systems with certification for annual maintenance. Computer literate, ability to occasionally be on-call after hours. The candidate must be in good physical condition, i.e. able to stand, lift and stoop for long periods of time and work in unfavorable weather conditions such as heat and cold. Must possess Motor Vehicle Operator's (DMV) License with ability to be insured. REPORTS TO: Director of Central Operations and Maintenance JOB GOALS: To ensure that all facilities meet the highest standards of plumbing service for healthy, safe, and efficient use throughout the district TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Such duties and responsibilities as my be assigned, including but not limited to: • Completes daily work orders efficiently and effectively. • Performs preventive maintenance measures to eliminate future major repairs. • Exercises proper safety precautions during the performance of assignments. • Performs assignments after hours; on-call basis • Accounts for economical, effective, and proper use of all department tools and materials. • Maintain proper time documentation for tasks performed. • Properly documents repairs • Assist in the preparation of orders and check the quantity and quality of all parts and material received, and promptly reports any errors or deviations. • Performs other tasks, assigned by the Director of Central Operations and Maintenance; as designated by the Superintendent. • Demonstrate prompt and regular attendance. • Supports the Meridian Public School District Mission, Vision and Strategic Plan. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: As determined by the Board of Trustees.
