This is an individual contributor role responsible for welding of pipe (metallic and non-metallic) and plates using various methods, techniques, and weld procedures/specifications. What You Will Be Doing • Weld metal parts together, using both stick rod and heli-arc welding techniques • Perform related tasks, such as thermal cutting and grinding • Preparation of material for welding • Repair broken or cracked parts, fills holes, and increase size of metal parts. Installs modifications to equipment, or structures • Position and clamp together components of fabricated metal products preparatory to welding • Operate and utilize assistive devices such as man-lifts, forklifts, or other powered industrial equipment • Pipefitting • Proven ability to draw isometric diagrams and develop bill of material for piping system construction • Drawing and reading blueprints/isometrics • Fabrication and installation of piping systems • Dismantle/remove and installation of bolted connections (flanges, pipe, vessels, etc.) Required Qualifications • 5 years welding in industrial field in a plant setting • Certified Welding Inspection (CWI) or other welding certifications are desired • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) • Ability to qualify in all required methods in the 6G position • Valid and current Transportation Workers Identification Card (TWIC) No sponsorships | No agencies Rolling 4/10
