Randall Mechanical is currently seeking top-tier Welder / Pipefitters to work on a long-term, large project on the Space Coast of Florida (Palm Bay). Position Summary The Welders/Pipe Fitters will be responsible for welding and fitting CARBON STEEL AND STAINLESS-STEEL pipes to specifications, examining work product for defects, and ensuring conformance with specifications. Essential Functions Fit and Weld carbon steel and stainless-steel pipes for plumbing/mechanical applications. Desired Qualification Requirements • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN. • 5+ years of experience in welding carbon steel and stainless-steel pipe • Welding certifications preferred • Knowledge of plumbing, pipefitting, and welding techniques • Excellent mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity with attention to detail • High school diploma or equivalent. Vocational training or certification in pipe welding • Must be able to pass a thorough background check. • Working knowledge of SMAW, FCAW, Stick (6010/7018) welding • Working knowledge of gas cutting techniques for piping (Automatic & Manually) • Excellent knowledge of Fitting configurations adhering to ASME B31.1 Piping • Preferred knowledge of examination, testing, inspection, operation, and maintenance of piping systems found in industrial, institutional, and general heating and cooling systems. • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills. • Communication: Effective English or Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) verbal and written communication skills are a must have • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to achieve quality objectives and project success. • Safety: Commitment to adhering to safety protocols, procedures, and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and others. Physical Requirements You must be able to lift a dead weight of at least 50 pounds and stand on your feet for several hours at a time. You must also be able to bend, stretch, crouch and lift as required by the job, be able to respond quickly to sounds, see and respond to dangerous situations, and properly wear personal protective gear.
