A successful candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude and be willing and eager to invest time and energy in training to gain the necessary skills and knowledge to be successful. This position will Perform a variety of maintenance and repair activities on all sized of piped and valves in a large paper mill. Inspects worksite, plans activities, selects tools and replacement parts, cuts, welds, disassembles, and assembles parts. May interact with management, engineering and vendors regarding new machinery/equipment selection, specifications, and set-up.
