Key Responsibilities: • Operate rotary chop saws and band saws to cut pipe to length. • Handle the movement of pipe along tables and offload to carts or crates for staging in loading areas. • Operate Victaulic or Pace Grooving machines for grooved pipe end processes. • Apply threads to pipes using threaders. • Install hanger devices to specified lengths of threaded rods. • Operate bench grinders to apply required ends to threaded rods for application of hanger devices. • Pull pipe carts of pipe to load areas for loading purposes. • Operate pneumatic staple guns to staple cardboard boxes to pallets. • Use forklifts when necessary to retrieve materials and move pipe. • Operate pneumatic banders to ready pipe bundles for shipment when required.
