We are currently seeking highly skilled and experienced Pipefitters to join our team. As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for installing, modifying, and repairing piping systems on submarines using ship plans, blueprints, and sketches to plan and lay out the routing placements, pitch, elevation, and operation of various piping systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will also be required to remove various types of piping interference on board submarines in support of other trades. Key Responsibilities: • Performing submarine work using ship plans, blueprints, and sketches to plan and lay out the routing placements, pitch, elevation, and operation of various piping systems and equipment. • Install, modify, and repair various piping systems by setting up system routes, placing and cutting route openings, placing hangers for proper pitch and elevation, P-1 and P-2 weld joint fit-ups, basic lay-out and pipe bending methods and removing/repairing/calibrating/testing/installing Trident Barton Tank Level Indicators. • Removing various types of piping interference on board submarines in support of other trades.
