Job Summary: The journeyman plumber in a contracting company is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The role involves interpreting blueprints, troubleshooting plumbing issues, and ensuring all work complies with local, state, and federal codes. The journeyman plumber works both independently and as part of a team, often collaborating with other trades and contractors to complete projects on time and to the highest quality standards. Duties/ Responsibilities: • Install plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, fittings, water heaters, and drainage systems in residential, commercial, or industrial buildings • Repair or replace damaged or malfunctioning plumbing components, such as faucets, valves, and toilets • Maintain plumbing systems to ensure proper operation and prevent potential issues • Diagnose and resolve plumbing
