Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both residential and commercial construction plumbing and a strong mechanical aptitude. This role requires proficiency in various plumbing techniques, the ability to read blueprints and schematics, skills with coordinating the material and timing of labor, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship on every project. The Journeyman Plumber will work on diverse plumbing systems, perform installations, maintenance, and repairs, while ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. As a company we do receive service calls as well as new residential and commercial construction projects. Responsibilities • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout of plumbing systems. • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for various plumbing tasks. • Perform pipe threading and assembly for different types of piping materials. • Conduct regular maintenance checks on plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance. • Collaborate with construction teams on-site to ensure timely project completion. • Execute heavy lifting tasks as required for installation and repair of plumbing fixtures. • Provide field service support for emergency plumbing issues as needed. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols. Qualifications • Proven experience in construction plumbing with a strong understanding of plumbing codes and regulations. • Familiarity with boilers is a plus. • Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools. • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks. • Experience in carpentry, remodeling, or maintenance person services is desirable, but not required. • Previous experience working on construction sites is preferred. • Must be able to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties. • Join our team of professionals where your skills will be valued, and your contributions will make a significant impact on our projects.
