We are actively hiring experienced Pipe Fitters for consistent work on industrial projects across Montana, including Great Falls, Billings, and Culbertson. Projects include water treatment facilities, power plants, structural steel, and industrial infrastructure.Job Responsibilities:● Read and interpret isometric drawings, blueprints, and spool sheets to plan pipe runs and installations.● Measure, cut, bevel, and prep pipe for fit-up.● Align and fit pipe using clamps, levels, lasers, and other layout tools.● Perform basic tack welding to hold pipe in place for certified welders.● Install pipe supports, hangers, and related structural components.● Assist with rigging, hoisting, and positioning of pipe sections.● Work closely with welders, supervisors, and inspection teams to maintain production goals and quality standards.● Adhere to all site safety protocols and maintain a clean, safe work area.Requirements:● 3+ years of pipe fitting experience in industrial, heavy construction, or infrastructure projects.● Ability to read and interpret piping drawings, isometrics, and field sketches.● Experience with carbon steel, stainless steel, and various pipe sizes.● Basic tack welding ability using SMAW (stick) or GTAW (TIG) for fit-up (full welding certification not required).● Familiarity with pipe threading, beveling, cutting, and pipe prep equipment.● Ability to work outdoors year-round, climb ladders, work at heights, and lift up to 50 lbs.● Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.Preferred Qualifications:● Experience working on water treatment plants, power plants, or other industrial facilities.● OSHA 10/30, MSHA, or site-specific safety training.● Knowledge of job site safety standards and industrial construction best practices.
