About the Job: We’re looking for an experienced Journeyman Pipefitter to join our maintenance team at a large manufacturing plant. In this role, you’ll be responsible for laying out, fabricating, installing, and repairing piping systems that keep our plant running. You’ll work with a variety of systems including steam, water, air, gas, and chemical lines. This is a hands-on position for someone who takes pride in their trade, works safely, and can handle the pace of a busy industrial environment. What You’ll Do: • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and job specs to plan pipe layouts. • Cut, thread, groove, weld, and fit pipe to exact measurements. • Install and repair valves, pumps, and other equipment tied into piping systems. • Perform preventive maintenance and respond to breakdowns quickly to minimize downtime. • Work with maintenance crews, welders, and other trades to complete projects. • Inspect piping systems for leaks, wear, and safety issues. • Follow plant safety rules, lockout/tagout, and OSHA standards every day. What We’re Looking For: • 4+ years of industrial or commercial pipefitting experience. • Strong skills with pipe cutters, threaders, welders, grinders, and other trade tools. • Ability to read blueprints and work with tight tolerances. • Knowledge of pumps, valves, boilers, chillers, and hydraulics is a big plus. • Must be dependable, safety-minded, and able to work with minimal supervision. • Willing to work overtime, weekends, or off-shifts when needed. Physical Requirements: • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly. • Comfortable working at heights, in tight spaces, and in hot/cold environments. • Must be able to bend, kneel, climb, and stand for long periods.
