Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing systems, with the ability to perform installations, repairs, and maintenance of various plumbing fixtures and systems. This role requires mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in both residential and commercial settings. Duties • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures including sinks, toilets, water heaters, and pipes. • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine layout of plumbing systems. • Perform heavy lifting as required for the installation of plumbing equipment. • Weld pipes as necessary to ensure secure connections. • Assemble and install plumbing components according to specifications. • Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or needed repairs. • Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction projects. • Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations. Qualifications • Proven experience as a plumber or in a similar role. • Strong mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems. • Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. • Experience with heavy lifting; must be physically fit for demanding tasks. • Commercial driving experience is a plus for transporting tools and materials. • Familiarity with welding techniques is advantageous. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
